Bindslev helps Slagelse determine its identity
How does one create national and international resonance regarding Slagelse Municipality? The first move towards a new story has begun.
In just 30 hours, The Slagelse Municipality City Council, representatives from business, educational and NGO life along with specially selected Slagelse citizens developed an array of new actions aimed at strengthening the area as well as creating new attitudes towards the municipality.
It was all a part of the initiative ‘Let us show them what we can do’, a two-day Camp hosted by Bindslev and Slagelse Municipality in Skælskør on November 10 and 11, 2011.
The Camp’s initiatives are now being further developed in several Camp workshops, where the ideas are honed and concretized together with new citizens and stakeholders.
This’ll become the platform for further developing Slagelse’s new brand, based on the municipality’s unique strengths and personal story. The final branding and action plans are set to be deployed in March 2012.
